Activating your complimentary Salem databases is quick and easy. Just follow the instructions below.

The Activation Process

All new Salem titles in our database include an "Activation Number" found in the inside back cover of Volume 1 of the printed set. This number is used to activate your Salem Press title on your online account. The number is unique to each printed set and can only be used by one school, college or library.

Once you have your Activation Number in hand, librarians and administrators should log on to Salem's online database:

How to Activate a Title

Upon arriving at the Salem Online homepage, you will see a page like the one below:

1. Click on "Activate Title/Administrator" link

2. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to provide your login information

3. After correctly logging in, you will arrive at the Administrator section.

4. Click on the "Activate Title" tab on the top menu.

5. To add a title, enter the Activation Key in the field provided.
