Organization & Format
Each entry in Milestone Documents in World History begins with an overview section that outlines the importance of the document. Subsequent sections include "Context," which discusses the historical context of the document, a "Time Line" of key events, a brief biographical profile of the author(s), the "Explanation and Analysis of the Document" the intended audience and the impact the document had. Essays also include a detailed bibliography, a glossary of unfamiliar terms, key quotes from the document, and questions for further study.
