Strangers in Paradise is a comic book series published every week since 1993. The artist, Terry Moore, has produced a wonderful array of images. Perhaps best-known among librarians is "Look it Up."

RENAISSANCE PAINTING
Giuseppe Arcimboldo was born in Milan in 1527 into a distinguished family. He painted in a remarkable style, "assembling" portraits from objects that had symbolic significance for the subject of the painting.
