BROWSING & ORDERING INFORMATION You can browse titles via the "Products" tab that appears at the top of every page on our site. Titles are organized by: All such categories (and their subcategories) are linked to lists of books. Titles on lists have buttons labelled "Add to Cart" button, which will place the title in your active shopping cart. There are also "Info" buttons that provided annotations on each title. When you are done shopping, you can review the items in your shopping cart and make any necessary changes - including set quantities. You can "Save" a cart for later submission. This allows you or others in your school or library to review an order. Of course, you can provide us with shipping and billing information, and then submit your order electronically or by printing and faxing (or mailing) it to us. WEBSITE REGISTRATION In order to save shopping carts, submit orders and specify book cataloging and processing you must enter your shipping and billing information. This process is quick and easy, taking 5 minutes. To register, click the "Login" tab at the top right of this page. ADDITIONAL USERS The Salem website now allows you to "share" saved shopping carts. An Administrator (the person who first registered with us) can go to their own Profile and add other users. These users will be permitted to view saved carts, save carts and submit them. Additional Users cannot alter processing or cataloging specifications or other billing and shipping information. ORDERING METHODS This site makes ordering electronically easy. Once you are registered and have a shopping cart with the items you wish to purchase, simply submit your order. You can also order by mail or fax. When you register, simply select "Printed Orders" as you sign up with us. PROCESSING All cataloging and processing for Salem titles ordered on this website is free. PRICES & DISCOUNTS - Schools and Libraries All prices quoted on this website are in US dollars and include free freight. Cataloging and processing is also free on this site. Discounting of list prices are as follows: All applicable sales taxes for purchases of our titles are calculated based on your local sales tax rates and will be included on your invoice. PRICES & DISCOUNTS - Distributors Retailers, jobbers, wholesalers, library suppliers and distributors should contact Salem for pricing and terms. SHIPPING & HANDLING Books are shipped library rate unless otherwise requested. For special handling or priority shipping, please call Customer Service toll free at (800) 221-1592 or email Customer Service at csr@salempress.com for shipping charges. Post Office boxes will be shipped to by US mail. Shipments that are too large for UPS/mail will be sent via freight and actual charges will be billed after delivery. PAYMENT TERMS Accounts are payable within 30 days. Prices are subject to change without notice. Purchasers who do not have accounts should include payment with the order, including sales tax, if applicable. REMITTANCE ADDRESS Send check or money order payable in U.S. Dollars to: DEFERRED PAYMENT Schools and libraries may defer their billing for up to six months after submitting an order. The invoice will be sent with your order and the payment terms requested. RETURNS POLICY - Schools and Libraries Every Salem Press title carries a full money-back guarantee of satisfaction. Full refund will be made on any returns received in resalable condition within six months of invoice date, exclusive of shipping and handling. Defective or damaged volumes will be replaced. Send returns with a copy of your invoice to: RETURNS POLICY - Distributors For information contact your Salem Press representative BACKORDERS If a title is not yet published or temporarily out of stock, we can backorder the title for you until it is available, at which time it will be shipped and billed. You may also indicate a backorder cancellation date, simply by stating what month you wish to have a backorder canceled. If you do not accept backorders, please indicate that on your purchase orders. CANADIAN CUSTOMERS - Remittance Address Send check or money order payable in Canadian Dollars to: Salem Press is not responsible for bank fees or conversion rate charges that may result from payment by credit card.
